Abstract (English)
Participating artists produced sound-based art of varying lengths to be shared with the public through an exhibition, a lending library and a listening centre. The range of work includes storytelling, spoken word, instrumental music, interviews, rock & roll, and audio-collages. Originally conceived as a temporary collection, the works were returned to participating artists at the end of the exhibition. In 2002, the collection was reconstituted and acquired by Artexte.

Les artistes et collaborateurs du projet ont produit de l’art sonore de durées variées, à partager avec le public à l’aide d’une exposition, d’une bibliothèque de prêt et d’un centre d’écoute. Les œuvres comprennent des histoires racontées, du « spoken word », de la musique instrumentale, des entretiens, du « rock and roll » et des collages audio. Originellement conçu comme une collection temporaire, les œuvres ont été retournées aux artistes à la fin de l’exposition. La collection fut reconstituée et acquise par Artexte en 2002.

Preservation copies of the audio material are available in CD ROM format for consultation purposes.
