Abstract (English)

In his analysis of Toronto sculpture, Grenville uses the double analogy of process and territoriality, and a conceptual model based on Tolman's notion "cognitive mapping" to enumerate the hidden meanings inherent in an essentially corporeal medium. The work of Boigon, Clarkson, Miller, Noguchi and Van Halm is described. Biographical notes.
