Abstract (English)

Reminiscent of archeological digs, the construction sites for Vancouver's Expo 86 constitute the subject matter of Bradley's photo-assemblages. The archetypal forms that emerge from the industrial landscape, the theme of construction/deconstruction, and the role of the photograph in the making of history, are discussed in the catalogue essay and artist's statement. Biographical notes.
