Abstract (English)

"'Into the Woods' was an exhibition of paintings in watercolour on paper and oil on canvas by Montreal/Edmonton based artist Tammy Salzl. It was presented at Two Rivers Gallery in a long, spacious, tall room. [...] Oil paintings on the peripheral walls presented characters in a broad range of narrative settings. The smaller watercolour paintings in the middle gave-way instead to a deeply wrought approach to portraiture." -- p.1.
