Abstract (English)

Catalogue comprises Kabakov's statement, an anonymous description of a 1988 exhibition, an interview between Kabakov and Bakstein and a visual work by Scott. Rhodes' critical essay discusses the exhibition's rationale, a schematic appropriation of the Cold War, as well as the relationship of the individual to state politics and daily reality.
