Abstract (English)

Documentation of Muntadas' project for the Casa de Serralves, a public museum which was formerly the home of a wealthy Porto family. Muntadas' statement and Melo's commentary elucidate the political and aesthetic concerns and spatial execution of the work room by room. Dimitrijevic's evaluation of Muntadas' artistic production is generously augmented with quotes by the artist, while Tarantino's introduction discusses his oeuvre in terms of space, absence and perceptual memory.
