Abstract (English)One of a series of four books published on the occasion of a retrospective of Snow's work, this publication examines the artist's extensive body of visual work engaging a multitude of mediums. Referencing the critical writing of the day and highlighting the "Walking Woman Series", Reid reviews the years 1951-1967. Monk stresses the importance of "Wavelength" (1967) in an analysis of the artist's development from 1967 to 1969. Examining the later years, Dompierre articulates concerns with the "Real" and issues of representation, while Rhodes discusses public commissions and De Kerckhove looks at holographic works. Biographical notes. Bibl. 18 p.
