Abstract (English)According to Nemiroff, the common denominator of Charney's and Wodiczko's work lies in the partial revelation of the "inconscious structure of architecture". Her text discusses the notions of public art and of monument. She demonstrates the extreme logic which governs Charney's projects. The fusion taking place between projection and reception of a narration in Wodiczko's art, along with the keen sense of irony underlying this process of art's reinsertion into social life are described.
