Abstract (English)

This publication presents the winners of Canada’s Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts for the year 2000: J. Alloucherie (Sculpture and Installation), G. Caiserman-Roth (Painting), J. Chalke (Fine Crafts), J. Giraldeau (Film), J. Scott (Painting), M. Snow (Film) and D. Shadbolt (Voluntarism). Includes statements by the artists, as well as brief comments by the jury. Texts in French and English. List of works reproduced in the publication. Brief biographical notes on the artists and jury members.
