Abstract (English)

This publication documents an exhibition presented at the Oakville Galleries’ Gairloch Gardens, which consisted of installations by four artists (three Canadians and one Japanese-American) who use flower petals in their work. Fleming’s text outlines the curatorial intent, and provides a descriptive analysis of each piece. Emphasis is placed on the transformative nature of the artists’ works. Includes statements by the artists.
