Abstract (English)

On the occasion of an exhibition gathering nearly 150 international artists, Lefebvre discusses the artisanal character of printmaking in the era of the electronic image and provides a description of the four major groups of printmaking processes: relief, intaglio, lithography and serigraphy. Includes an homage to Albert Dumouchel.

A l'occasion d'une exposition réunissant près de 150 artistes internationaux, Lefebvre discute de l'aspect artisanal de la gravure à l'ère de l'image électronique et fournit une description des quatre types de procédés de l'art de l'estampe; le relief, la gravure en creux, la lithographie et la sérégraphie. Comprend un bref texte rendant hommage à Albert Dumouchel.
