Abstract (English)

Blouin situates the emergence of installation, particularly in Canada, and comments on the works of the 30 artists in the exhibition. Johnstone provides an historical perspective on the origins and future of installation works, while Thériault traces an itinerary for a visit of the show. Chronology of installations created between 1915 and 1979. Bibl. 9 p.
